The story of the Match Girls’ strike at the Bryant and May factory in Bow, East London. Main narration by Rhiannion Kelly, with newspaper cuttings read by Sarah Jeanpierre and music by The Black Smock Band (Andy Bannister, Dan Cox and Paul Burgess). The same group are part of the team that created Mobile Incitement, a piece of gig theatre from Daedalus Theatre Company exploring the history of protest.
